If you are struggling with insomnia, depression, anxiety, or are experiencing challenges while transitioning to a new life stage, I can help. As an individual therapist, I have helped clients address symptoms and concerns related to sleep, mood, and anxiety disorders; adjustment to new situations (e.g., pregnancy and parenthood, career change, retirement); and difficulties in relationship. Therapy is also beneficial to those who are curious and want to better understand themselves and others.
In therapy, we will work together to identify, understand, and change problematic behaviors and unhelpful coping strategies. I draw from several therapeutic approaches and tailor therapy to fit your unique needs and preferences. And, as a board-certified sleep specialist, I can assess and treat insomnia utilizing CBT-I.
Over the past 15 years I have gained experience with various populations, including college students and young adults, working parents, military veterans, older adults, immigrants and first-generation Americans, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. My professional and personal experiences have made me particularly sensitive to cultural issues.
