I also specialize in working with individuals with complex family dynamics and trauma. I am an immigrant raised in Mexico and I migrated to the USA when I was a teen. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and I have mastered Spanglish throughout the years!
All of us are different and unique in our own way! I focus on integrating clients' unique stories that include family, profession, culture, ethnic identity, socioeconomic status, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, immigration experiences and traumatic events into my practice.
I provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed, evidence-based and LGBTQ+ affirming therapy with an emphasis on serving the Latine/Spanglish and multiracial/multicultural population. I also believe a healthy sense of humor can go a long way in the therapy room.
