Are you or your adolescent suffering from anxiety or depression, or are you feeling the need to talk with a compassionate professional about the stressors in your life? Are your adolescent's emotional or behavioral problems impacting him/her/them negatively in school or at home? Is your transgender teen needing extra support? A knowledgeable and experienced, yet down-to-earth, therapist, I treat adults, adolescents, and families presenting with a wide range of issues. In my practice, you will be treated with respect by a non-judgmental and collaborative therapist, in an environment that is supportive and nurturing. Self-pay only.
My therapeutic style is eclectic, incorporating elements of psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness. I have special training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as Thought Field Therapy, both of which can be particularly effective in the treatment of past trauma.
I try to work with clients' schedules. Most weekdays, I am available to see clients throughout the day until 6pm. Saturday hours vary. I do not see clients on Sunday. I would be more than happy to discuss your particular appointment needs. I believe timely communication is important and I make every effort to respond to phone calls and emails promptly.
