Experiences of grief and loss occur throughout the life span. The response to these experiences is unique and personal. I believe everyone has a story which is important to tell. As a therapist I work to create a trusting environment in which to tell that story. It is in the understanding of the story one can discover solutions to problems, acceptance of the past and hope for the future.
I believe the relationship is central to a positive therapeutic experience. I enjoy working with all ages and incorporate a variety of treatment modalities to best meet the needs of the client.
I am certified as a Fellow in Thanatology from the Association of Death Education and Counseling, a certified Bereavment Facilitator, and specialize in working with children and families.
