The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience providing clinical treatment and therapy to those who find themselves unhappy, stuck, or struggling with life's obstacles. I have had the privilege and opportunity to work in a variety of settings including a residential crisis stabilization unit, a state psychiatric facility, a county jail, and a homeless shelter.
I work primarily with those suffering from depression, anxiety, psychosis, grief, life adjustments, and sleep issues. I also have a special interest and focus on trauma, and am certified to provide EMDR. I enjoy working with individuals with personality disorders, as well. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
My therapeutic style is empathic, direct, and empowering. I encourage and support my clients to make difficult changes to achieve lasting recovery and increase life satisfaction. Gifted in listening and processing, I strive to make all clients feel comfortable and heard during their journey towards self-fulfillment.
