After graduating from George Mason University with a bachelor's degree, I learnt innovative strategies and tactics from Grand Canyon University to improve my services for my clients and the community. My work before obtaining my master's degree included educating clients about the importance of mental health and self-care, dispelling the stigma associated with mental illnesses, reducing prejudice toward individuals who need counseling or medication, encouraging resilience and self-compassion.
