When a person is expecting, sometimes what you are least expecting can occur! The journey towards parenthood and beyond is often filled with twists and turns. It is my desire to partner with you along your journey to help you feel supported, equipped and capable of navigating the bumps along the road. I began my career as a therapist working with kids and teens and over the years of providing parenting support, I have learned how essential it is to provide care for the caregiver(s).
In my desire to care for the caregiver(s), I have sought advanced training and obtained a certification in perinatal mental health. I have experience working with individuals with fertility challenges, miscarriage, birth trauma, and have worked with a variety of mood-related concerns including anxiety, depression and OCD.
In my work, I seek to integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches in a creative manner, tailoring sessions to meet the unique needs and personality of each individual and family. It is my goal to treat the whole person, not merely the symptoms.
