Any of us, from adults to very young children, can experience life challenges that require the caring support of other people. Sometimes we need help to navigate these challenges, and to heal, reorient, and move forward in our lives toward better health and wholeness. When the emotional support of friends and family is not enough, establishing a safe, collaborative relationship with a psychotherapist can be a valuable resource.
Part of my work is with parents of young children (up to 8 yrs of age). I bring years of experience and training as a therapist, and as a clinical supervisor and program manager of early childhood programs. When trauma, behavior, or attachment issues interfere with a child’s development and zest for life, early intervention can help them get back on track
In addition to supporting parents, I work primarily with individual adults. I enjoy working with adults of all ages, from college students to elders, who are experiencing grief and loss, other life transitions, family of origin or self esteem issues, anxiety and depression. I look forward to hearing from you!
