Life is a complicated journey, and I am fortunate to have the opportunity to walk with my clients as they navigate relationships, self esteem, life transitions, losses and change. My practice focuses on helping adults resolve difficult life experiences, whether from childhood or from the challenges of daily life or the inevitable transitions and changes of life as we grow older. I believe that therapy can help people break out of the set patterns of thinking and feeling that restrict us from living our life to our highest potential.
I specialize in working with issues such as childhood abuse, medical challenges, spiritual or existential questions, grief and loss, and navigating complex identities including stepparenting, LGBTQ+ issues, and blended families. I also work with people struggling with depression and anxiety. Weekend appointments are available.
I usually recommend meeting with me for an initial session so that we can both determine if I am the right therapist for you. Finding the right counselor is such an important part of the process. If I'm not that person for you, I'll help with a referral.
