At times, life is hard. You may be struggling to focus, be stuck in self-defeating patterns, feeling out of control or hopeless about the world. Whether you are experiencing symptoms of distress for the first time, or are continually haunted by the past, it can be overwhelming to manage alone. I provide therapy to adults, and adolescents of all backgrounds with a focus on complex and developmental trauma, addictive behaviors, disordered eating/body image issues and identity formation in adolescence and early adulthood.

You will find me patient, collaborative and energetic. I pay particular attention to the stories you tell about yourself and the world, and the hidden function of misunderstood behaviors. I come from a social work background and have provided services in disinvested communities in Chicago and abroad. I am Level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems.

Reaching out to begin or reengage with therapy can be tough. Hopefully, this space can be a place for you to feel less alone with your pain and for us to bear witness to your story together. I accept BCBS and United PPO plans. Our practice will tentatively confirm benefits prior to our first session to check if you are in-network. I keep a credit card on file and charge you weekly for session based on your copay or coinsurance. I provide a superbill for out-of-network clients.
