Hello, I am a multilingual and multicultural therapist. Fluent in English, Hindi, Nepali, and Punjabi, I have over 12 years of experience working with diverse individuals, couples, and families both in India and the U.S. Throughout my career, I have helped clients overcome a range of issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, academic pressures, relationship conflicts, family issues, and grief and loss. While I work with clients presenting a variety of issues, I have a particular interest in working with adults who are experiencing grief and loss, helping them understand life transitions and navigate through their emotions.
I approach my clients with empathy, and compassion, using a humanistic approach to help them progress. I employ CBT techniques to identify my clients' core beliefs and behavior patterns, while also utilizing the IFS approach. Additionally, I incorporate mindfulness practices and culturally competent techniques to enhance my clients' overall well being.
I understand that every client is unique, and I strive to work alongside each of my clients to create a personalized and meaningful treatment plan.
