I have been serving the needs of couples and individuals for over 30 years and have accrued over 25k hours of counseling experience. I am a licensed clinical social worker and have an earned doctorate in Counseling. Although I specialize in couple infidelity counseling I very much enjoy working with individuals helping them process and gain insight into painful past experiences and trauma based stuggles. I also have extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of personality disorders.
I specialize in helping couples heal from marital infidelity. My approach is caring, non-judgmental, and highly engaged. I define forgiveness as “being released from debt” and I assist couples in understanding what debt has been incurred, expressing the pain and emotional cost of the infidelity and then moving couples in a dynamic reconnecting experience.
My approach provides deep healing for the “offended” of the infidelity and, as important, it offers the “offender” a way out of the shame and a positive path forward. I have presented and provided training of my approach to healing couple infidelity at the national conference of the American Mental Health Counselor’s Association.
