Hey! I'm so glad you've gotten this far in your journey looking for a counselor to meet your needs. The process for searching for help can seem so overwhelming, so go ahead and give yourself a big hug for all the work you've put in this far. My name is Sydney, and I have such passion for the counseling process. I hope to meet with clients who are knowing that they are wanting to make a positive change in their lives and may just need some help finding the right tools to help, have someone to listen and help process through heavy emotions, and are ready to put some work in so we can collaboratively make this a positive experience.
Individuals who I tend to see are seeking for assistance in dealing with concerns including anxiety, depression, adjustment/life transitions, social difficulties, relational concerns, self-esteem/confidence, and personal growth and development. I aim to facilitate an environment that allows individuals to feel safe, validated, and heard.
I myself have received counseling services and it made such a positive impact in my life that I decided I wanted to provide for others what my counselor provided for me. Whether you feel you're in a difficult season of life or are just feeling unsettled, I feel anyone can benefit from counseling through gaining a clearer understanding of themselves.
