Therapy works! Although there are many barriers to coming, I see people improve all the time and you can experience that too if you take the risk. Research shows that therapy works best when you connect with and trust your therapist. My clients enjoy my real and authentic style in therapy. Rather than feeling stiff and impersonal, I connect easily with clients by being understanding, empathetic, and charismatic. I also prioritize and frequently seek your feedback throughout the therapy process. I believe my personal and collaborative style, along with my training and therapeutic skill, are what make me an effective therapist.
I specialize in couples therapy to treat all relationship issues and trauma therapy for most mental health issues (depression, anxiety, etc). In both approaches, my goal is to identify and heal the root of your symptoms rather than simply coping with them. As you heal the underlying root, you can experience more joy in yourself and your relationships.
