If you're a woman in transition and/or have a history of trauma/PTSD, I'm here to help you move through unknown territory with more ease. It often takes working through self-esteem issues, feelings of overwhelm, sadness and self-doubt. A trauma history can profoundly interfere with you living your best life. Perhaps you're looking for a change in career and life purpose, or maybe you're dealing with chronic illness, loss of a pet/human or recently out of a longtime relationship/marriage. I offer you an effective approach to helping you feel more uplifted, grounded, and on your way to living a a more empowered and fulfilling life.
An integrative and holistic perspective guides my work of 25 years. Using Mindfulness and Body-Centered practices (EMDR, Somatic Experiencing) along with Nature-Inspired wisdom and Compassion-Focused therapies allow clients to connect with body, mind, emotion, spirit. Art Therapy can also serve well depending on a person's needs.
My approach is warm, gentle, and compassionate, as well as informative, direct, and practical. I work with each person as an individual creating a therapeutic environment that is unique to each person's needs. Clients report that our work together allows them to find more stability, direction and joy in their lives.
