As a dance/movement therapist, our sessions can be purely talk therapy, movement and talk therapy, or a mixture of movement, talk, and other creative approaches. In our sessions together, I will create a space where all aspects of you are welcome and you can speak freely about whatever is on your mind. I can help you understand how your past impacts your present. I am here to listen, understand, and help you discover new choices and new ways of being, so that you can flourish in life. I am here to support you on your journey of self discovery and self growth.
I am a licensed creative arts therapist and board certified dance/movement therapist. I believe that we can reach a deeper understanding of ourselves and others through connecting to our creative selves through movement and art making in a way that words alone sometimes can't do. I also enjoy incorporating creative writing and guided meditation in my work.
Choosing the right therapist based on a webpage may feel daunting. Finding someone you feel comfortable and safe with is crucial to your success in therapy. I invite you to reach out for a phone or video consultation to see if you think we'll be a good fit. Please note that I am only offering online sessions at this time.
