Do you find it challenging to relax and enjoy the present moment? Are you struggling to quiet your inner critic? Do you have difficulty sitting with intense emotions, naming them, and expressing them to others? I work with female and queer individuals who want to feel more grounded, present, and empowered in their lives. Things such as trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, and dissociation can impact our ability to connect with our bodies and feel our feelings – it’s hard to understand and express what you’re feeling if you don’t know how to feel it, or if you don’t feel safe to do so.

In addition to talk therapy, I offer somatic therapy (Brainspotting & Sensorimotor), which uses a bottom-up approach of feeling vs. thinking to release stored emotions from the body. The body contains so much intuitive wisdom, and being able to sit with challenging sensations – in a safe and controlled way – can allow for emotional regulation and healing.

Therapy can be challenging, so I strive to provide a light-hearted, non-judgmental space where humor and laughter become a part of the healing process. I also offer Reiki sessions to clients.
