Updated 10/23/24 - accepting new individual & couple clients! If you're an individual struggling with anxiety, depression, or developing and maintaining fulfilling relationships, OR your romantic relationship needs extra support improving communication or working through a difficult time, I can help! I believe that connection is a core need of all human beings. We all experience disconnection, whether that is disconnection from our partners, our families, our work, our community, or ourselves. In therapy sessions, I will create an inviting, comfortable space for you to work through challenges and reconnect to yourself and others.
I approach my clients with warmth and genuine curiosity. My role is to hold space and guide you, ask questions you may not have considered, and gently challenge you while providing empathy, unconditional positive regard, and a nonjudgmental space. Humor is part of my authentic style - when appropriate, laughter can be incredibly healing!
If this resonated with you, or you'd just like to meet and see if therapy with me feels like a good fit, I invite you to schedule an initial 10 minute phone or video consultation session with me, or if you'd prefer, you can simply schedule your first session on the Steffen Counseling Services website. The scheduling process takes 1-3 minutes.
