I am so glad you are here. I work with individuals and couples who are looking to explore who they are and how they can make sense of the world around them more clearly. Folks who may be experiencing anxiety and depression, or even trying to figure out if that is what they should call it. In my work with couples I look to support and facilitate healthy communication and individual and collective understanding.
My approach to therapy is grounded in the understanding that we are all a collection of our experiences, but our experiences do not have to dictate how we live or who we will become. My style is eclectic, client centered, and open minded. I often draw from somatic therapy, narrative therapy, psychodynamic therapy, inner-child work, trauma-informed care...
I hold a holistic philosophy of therapy. Mental health is one aspect of our overall health. I consider therapy a life companion. We are all in different, ever-fluctuating stages in our lives, and those fluctuations can be negative or positive. Therapy can be a constant that guides us through life’s difficult times and makes sure that we celebrate ourselves.
