I hold a Masters in Mental Health and Counseling from New York University and a Master’s in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Oklahoma where I specialized in holistic mental health, somatic/body awareness, and a whole-person approach using evidence-based theories. These include emotion-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and mindfulness. My previous career was overseas working with the military and their families for 10 years.
