Welcome! I am an empathetic, caring, and down-to-earth person, who is genuinely interested in supporting you through your journey in counselling. It is important to me that while we work together, you feel supported and accepted. Humor and sensitivity are key ingredients in establishing a successful working relationship. I believe that no two people are the same. As such, you can expect that my approach to your counselling will be as unique as you are.
I provide support to adolescents, adults and couples who may be dealing with concerns related to relationships, loss, and anxiety and self-esteem. Some of the approaches I use include a Person-Centered approach, Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavior therapies. For couples, I am trained in Gottman Methods couple therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
I think it is really important that you feel comfortable with your therapist, so I offer a free 15-minute consultation for you to get a sense of my approach to determine if you think I am a good fit for you.
