Life can get hard and confusing, often impacting our mental health in ways we do not expect. Counselling can allow for growth and change, as well as support in navigating the ups and downs that life constantly throws at us. I am extremely passionate about human connections and my main goal when working with clients is to provide a space where you will feel safe, supported, understood, and empowered to make choices that focus on your mental health needs and wellbeing in a respectful and non-judgemental environment. As humans, we all bring our own individual personalities and lived experiences, and you are the expert of your own life.
I practice using an integrative, person-centred, and trauma-informed lens to best meet clients where they are at. My areas of passion and expertise is working with children and youth, and navigating trauma, behavioural/emotional challenges, learning differences, anxiety, depression, and grief/loss.
I value any opportunity to meet and support people of all ages and backgrounds. For counselling to be meaningful for you, feeling safe with, and connected to your counsellor is imperative. If you feel I may be a good fit for your needs or have more questions regarding counselling, I encourage you to set up a free 20-minute consult with me.
