Simply put, when we are authentically seen and heard, the way in which we navigate our lives and its challenges improves. It is important to me that I meet all clients with genuine empathy, honesty, and acceptance. I enjoy working from a strengths-based, positive therapeutic approach, and I believe that as the client, you are the expert of your own experience. My aim is to offer non-judgmental and open-minded insight and assistance in exploring the varying concerns you may bring to counselling.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree, a diploma in Behavioural Science from St. Lawrence College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from uOttawa.
