“Into this world we’re thrown…” (Morrison, 1971) are more than groovy lyrics, they seem to reflect how we’ve all just kind of landed somewhere on a map; amongst peoples and situations we’re expected to navigate; during this exact moment in history…I also feel as though we’re each doing our best to adapt and find peace despite all this. Leaning on curiosity, compassion, and humour, I’ve had the privilege of being a second set of eyes for individuals from all walks of life, and stages psychological development, whom have been faced with a wide array of obstacles they just needed a fellow traveller to help work things through with.
I received a B.A. in Psychology from York University (2019) and hold a M.Ed. in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Toronto (2021), and I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
My clinical orientation combines client-centered, psychodynamic, and relational frameworks. Once safety, trust, and comfort are established, we may decide to use the past to better understand our present, or to plan our next moves, all while holding the therapeutic relationship as a key element toward psychological growth.
