If you are looking for a supportive environment in which to tackle your mental health concerns, I offer a non-judgmental space where you will be accepted unconditionally. Just as pain and suffering are an integral part of human life, so is our capacity for healing. The safety of the therapeutic relationship offers you an opportunity to face past hurts and present difficulties, let go of defenses that no longer serve you, and adopt new coping mechanisms. I use an integrative approach to help you process emotions, change unhelpful thinking patterns, develop a mental well-being toolbox, and live a life more in line with your values.
I am experienced in providing therapy for depression, anxiety, stress, obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief, body image and eating problems, trauma, relationship difficulties, procrastination, perfectionism, self-esteem, chronic pain, disability, and burnout. I have experience working with LGBTQQ2SIA+ and polyamorous people, university students, teachers,
government employees, creative professionals, healthcare workers, and others. I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindful Self Compassion, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Taking the first step in therapy can be overwhelming, but you will not be alone in this journey.
