Over the past 10 years I have been counselling children, youth, adolescents, and their families. I provide a warm, humorous, and skillful approach to working with all individuals and tailor my treatment to meet my clients needs.
I have specialized clinical training in treating children, youth, and adolescent's struggling with anxiety, depression, addictions issues, and relationship issues. I use different therapeutic modalities such as Somatic work, CBT, IPT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Based training, and parent based approaches to support children and their families.
I am passionate about supporting children and youth and their families by providing them the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to help them build capacity to manage stressors in a different way. I believe in a mind body approach to therapy that supports not just talking about the issue but supporting clients with making meaningful change.
