My goal is to give you the tools to carry with you, so that you can transform your pain. Many people who experience present abuse have also had abusive childhoods. I address both. In the first stages of therapy you will learn to deal more effectively with the pain you are feeling, and also work on flashbacks, panic and self harm.
Healing is important because it: allows you to feel more in control of your life and entitled to your own thoughts and feelings; it allows you to develop closer relationships with others and free yourself from the traumatic past; you no longer have to relive it in nightmares or in your daily life.
