As a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and licensed clinical professional counselor, I use a biopsychosocial approach to provide comprehensive services that meet patients' complex needs. I use a teamwork approach with patients, and I believe that building supportive relationships is of utmost importance. Although medication is something that patients often find useful in managing their symptoms, I also help patients make other positive changes in their lives that can improve their wellness.
I have 28 years of experience providing mental health services and have clinical expertise and interest in depressive and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, trauma and PTSD, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. For patients working toward making changes in their substance use, I provide medication options along with harm reduction counseling.
