My approach to counseling is compassionate and supportive. I believe that you are the expert on your life and that we are partners in the counseling process. I use techniques from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, feminist theory, and existentialist theory. I strive for my work to be inclusive and validating of all experiences and identities; I am an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.
I help people manage anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I work with clients who are exploring questions of identity, navigating periods of transition, and working to improve their relationships with partners, friends, children, and family. As a musician myself, I enjoy working with artists.
At various points in my life I have struggled with my own mental health, and during those times I was immensely grateful to have the help of compassionate professionals; this is what motivates me as a clinician.
