Hello! My name is Allie, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have experience working with children & adolescents as well as adults looking to improve their mental health and relationships. I know from personal and professional experience that a comfortable and judgment-free therapeutic relationship is a critical component to healing. I believe that all humans are capable of recovery and I utilize mutual respect, validation, reflection, and even humor to empower my clients in achieving this.
I offer specialized treatment of eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have experience working individually with those struggling with EDs, as well as coaching for families of those struggling. I am trained in evidence based treatments for trauma and PTSD. I am trained in Family Based Treatment (FBT) and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT).
During session we will identify unhelpful thoughts and patterns and overcome challenges with the goal of improved relationships with yourself and others.
