By centering personal values and a self-compassion practice, I work to help my clients reconnect to their inner compass and move towards what they truly want. I approach therapy through a relational lens informed by attachment theory, though utilize other modalities like ACT, IFS, and DBT. I incorporate mindfulness to promote a nonjudgmental inquiry into the negative core beliefs that hold us back. All of that said, YOU are the expert on YOU, and I aim to be a witness to your process, providing nudges and maybe even some laughs along the way.
I provide individual psychotherapy and art therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in treating eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am trained in Family-Based Treatment (FBT) and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) to support the whole family system that is often necessary for eating disorder recovery.
My lived experience of overcoming my eating disorder inspired me to become a therapist and ultimately informs my clinical work. I wholeheartedly believe that a meaningful recovery is possible for everyone, and that recovery can bring a unique power to the individual, family system, and society-at-large.
