Let’s face it: the path to change can be long, tiresome, and lonely. The good news is, you don’t have to do it alone. I am here to join you in this process, to help you identify barriers and overcome obstacles, and to celebrate with you as you become fully authentic and present in your life. I treat adults working through a variety of issues, including anxiety, perfectionism, depression, guilt/shame, familial/relational struggles, LGBTQIA+ matters, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and more. Having transitioned into this career from a life in the performing arts, I have a special interest in working with fellow creatives.
I aim to tailor treatment to meet the needs of each individual client, often drawing from the CBT, ACT, and psychodynamic traditions. Together, we will identify the origins of certain cognitive and behavioral patterns within your unique cultural context and will collaboratively devise strategies to address them in the present.
I promise to be supportive, curious and non-judgmental in our work together. I vow to show up authentically in my role so that you feel empowered to do the same in yours. While I cannot guarantee that you will reach all of your personal and professional goals, I can guarantee that you will leave with greater insight and a clearer sense of self.
