Usually, people seek therapy during their most vulnerable states. As a therapist, I view it as a true honor to be a part of your life in these times, whatever it may be. I hope to help you receive healing during your therapy journey. Whether you are seeking help for yourself or for your teen or child, I genuinely believe in the possibilities and resiliency of all my clients. I enjoy working with a diverse population of people including children, teens, families, and adults. Additionally, I am passionate about helping people in the perinatal stage and those seeking healing from traumatic events.
I practice from a collaborative systemic stance holding a holistic outlook, viewing everyone as bio-psycho-social-spiritual beings. I incorporate a number of practices, to uniquely meet the needs of my client, including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Art/Play Therapy, Intuitive Eating/Health at Every Size, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I have a background in theatre which has centered me on the belief that everyone has a unique story to be told and I believe our stories give insight into our current well-being. I creatively explore one’s story, sometimes using writing, imagery, and art. At the end of the day, I hope my work helps each person believe they are worthy of love and connection.
