As a therapist, I am a great match for clients who sense there must be more to life, want to feel more alive, liberate themselves from suffering, and experience a more spacious and peaceful inner world. I believe that all people have an intrinsic force moving them towards connection, health, and aliveness, and I have a knack for helping people access these qualities within themselves. I have a lot of experience working with addiction and family systems, specifically clients who have a loved one dealing with an addiction. I specialize in treating developmental trauma, codependency, depression, anxiety, and relational issues.
I practice an approach called Compassionate Inquiry (CI), developed by Dr. Gabor Mate. CI is designed to help clients identify the unconscious patterns running their lives, to ultimately free themselves from self-generated suffering. This happens via a series of inquiries that bring the client into the present moment somatic experience of the body.
It is my greatest joy to help my clients feel more alive, to watch the light come back into their eyes as they soften more deeply into their hearts and authenticity. I pull from many wisdom traditions including the Human Design system and the Enneagram to assist me in understanding my clients on the deepest levels possible.
