Taking the initiative to reach out for therapy brings you one step closer towards healing & is a courageous act. I can help you bring kindness, awareness and compassion to difficult feelings and other self-limiting beliefs that often arise out of trauma, difficult childhoods and life's challenges. The journey of life can be hard at times, and you don't have to be alone. I celebrate working with a diverse range of clients including adults and those who identify as LGBTQ+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, outsiders, and immigrants. As a person born in the Middle East, I also have unique understanding of multicultural issues.
I have been a yoga teacher since 2008 & provide a grounded, compassionate, and gentle presence. I specialize in using Mindfulness, Self-compassion, DBT, ACT, and CBT to help shift one's thinking away from negative thoughts and instead towards self-acceptance and kindness through present moment awareness. Therapy will start by focusing on what you want.
I invite you to dive safely into the depths of your inner world and seek healing and peace. As Judith Herman has famously said, "Recovery can take place only within the context of relationships; it cannot occur in isolation.” Feel free to connect via text or phone below and explore the possibilities of therapy with me.
