My goal as a therapist is to learn each client’s individual story and align with their needs to develop and meet their personal objectives. I believe that each person has in them the strengths and ability to achieve their full potential. My approach to therapy, is to work toward the goals and concerns of the individual and explore the relationship and systems around the client that may impact and support healing. I collaborate with my client's life experiences and unique individuality to create achievable goals and meet their therapeutic needs.
I work with individuals, couples, and families using a solution-focused approach, while incorporating cognitive behavioral tools and emotional focused theories. I have several years experience working with behaviorally challenged kids and understand the impact of trauma on children, into adulthood. I offer Christian counseling if requested.
The thought of seeing a therapist can be overwhelming and it's my job to as your therapist to provide a warm atmosphere where you can be yourself and have a safe space to work through frustrating or overwhelming issues.
