“Emotional wellbeing is just as important to us as breathing is.” My approach to counseling concentrates on looking at the whole individual. I believe that mental health is connected to the whole person and physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being should be supported as well. I also focus on a client’s positive aspects rather than their dysfunction with the goal of self-improvement.
My approach uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address unproductive thinking, helping individuals explore how their thoughts affect their emotions and actions. I strive to create a safe, trusting space where clients feel empowered to be their authentic selves, using mindfulness and EMDR to foster healing, emotional balance, and personal growth.
