Kids are constantly expected to come into the "adult world," in school, at home, etc. so in therapy, it's my job to come into THEIR world. Play therapy utilizes children's natural language (play) rather than asking them to process their feelings the same way adults would.

Therapy is an important piece in making changes, but there are other factors that affect health and success. I coordinate treatment with other related professionals, such as your child's school staff or doctor, to make sure we are all working together for your child's best results.
