Just a few words that might explain who I am and what I like to spend my time doing outside of being a therapist. My work is based in Narrative Therapy through a lens of Feminism with a touch of Collaborative Language Systems and Solution Focused. My promise to you is this: when you sit down on that couch or in front of your webcam, all of that theory talkity talk goes out the window. There is only you. We will talk about your hopes, dreams, passions, the problems that are getting in the way, and how you will overcome these problems.
We may laugh, cry, get angry, sit in silence, meditate, draw, or write letters all in the same conversation. I am very interactive and I like to get as close to your story as possible. The space I create is one that is free from judgment and a space that will allow you to be you.
However, it is also a space where I will ask you questions that will cause you to examine every nook and cranny of your life and what you may find can sometimes be uncomfortable. It is through that discomfort where healing can be found, where the old ways of being can be shed and room can be made for new ways of being. I would be honored to sit with you.
