I believe we are all capable of building a meaningful life if we have the right tools and support. I enjoy working with motivated adults who want to learn how to cope with difficult emotions and stressors effectively. I predominantly support clients with mood and anxiety conditions as well as those who are seeking personal growth and want to improve their quality of life. Together, we can explore patterns that are no longer serving you, determine meaningful changes you'd like to make, and develop healthy coping skills to manage challenges. My counseling style is interactive, compassionate, and action oriented.
I approach treatment primarily from a DBT and ACT framework, which incorporates strategies for both change and acceptance. With these tools, I help clients learn how to make space for difficult emotions, influence patterns of thoughts and emotions, change unhelpful behaviors, clarify personal values, develop self-compassion, and live life intentionally.
I aim to create a relaxed and safe atmosphere for clients to be their authentic self and open up to the therapeutic process.
