Pain is a powerful motivator for change. Being human means struggling with brokenness and pain. When the suffering outweighs the joy of living, it would be my privilege to offer you the tools and guidance needed for healing.I am able to provide this thru personal experience and professional training. I am also a certified yoga instructor and offer individual yoga and meditation (without mysticism) to compliment the therapeutic process.
I work with individuals who suffer from anxiety, panic attacks, and trauma. I have personally experienced the fear and helplessness that result. I can walk with you to healing with the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness therapy and an integrative approach based on the belief that our mind, body, and spirit all interact.
I enjoy working with couples to develop the tools to communicate better, build intimacy, connectedness, and commitment in their relationships. I work with preteens/teens who struggle with anxiety, divorce adjustment and grief. I also offer family therapy and support for parents.
