With an extensive background in working with addictions and co-occurring disorders, I see addiction as a symptom. I work with my clients in identifying and resolving core issues that drive maladaptive behaviors. If there is any question that your use of alcohol or other drugs is contributing to or causing problems in your life, I want to help you in changing those self-defeating patterns. Whether you are struggling with substance use, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or unresolved trauma, I am here to empower you to change from within, which impacts great external change.
I bring a trauma-informed approach in the treatment of individuals I serve. Regarding addictions, I am able to help with recovery planning, relapse prevention, harm reduction, and in both achieving and maintaining recovery. I am also IFS level 1 trained and bring a systems/parts perspective when helping clients with the "inside job".
