Groups
To Empower U
I offer ongoing educational, coaching & support groups for those recently diagnosed with food allergies and those facing unique food allergy challenges. The groups provide support, education, and empowerment, improving confidence and competence in living with food allergies. Each group tailors its content to meet participant needs. While medical advice is never offered, participants learn about navigating schools/work (+504's) , celebrations, summer camps, dining out, travel, etc... I focus largely on wellness, helping participants harness the protective factors of worry to promote healthy allergen vigilance while mediating and minimizing the unhealthy ones (i.e. anxiety, food or activity avoidance.)

The Therapy Collective
I have the pleasure of co-leading a group psychotherapy practice of clinicians who approach healing and easing life's problems by building resiliency and tapping personal resources. While eclectic in style and approach, our practice, called The Therapy Collective, is rooted in relational, integrative psychotherapy models. Practitioners in this group understand and honor the mind-body connection. Our work incorporates the fundamental principles of traditional psychotherapy and holistic approaches to promote healing on all levels, combining talk therapy often with mind-body practices such as meditation, yoga, or breathwork, either in session or in collaboration with specialized integrative practitioners.
