Process Group for Family Substance Use
Do you have an immediate family member who has or has had substance use challenges within your family? What is the impact of this experience on your sense of self and on the health of the family as a whole? How does this dynamic impact your relationships? What are the best ways to implement boundaries and let go? Open to people of diverse backgrounds, the goal will be to foster empathic, kind relationships among members while providing a safe space to process one’s feelings about the past and present family experiences in an emotionally-focused manner.

Group Meets
Trauma-Focused Group
This group specializes in empowering adults (currently mid-20's-30's) who experienced challenging childhoods to reclaim their sense of self. It meets weekly on Thursday nights, the first three Thursdays of each month. Together we work on how to implement healthy boundaries, empathically process trauma in a safe, empathic, kind environment, and validate one another on here-and-now impressions of each other while building trust. In time, relationships harvested within the safety of the group dynamic slowly but surely unfold within life outside of the group as well.
