Sitting with people in their darkest moments is the most life-affirming work possible. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who brings my experience as an academic advisor, grief counselor, suicide hotline supervisor, and community agency therapist to support people through grief and loss (especially suicide loss), anxiety, career transitions, depression, trauma, and self-esteem issues. I often work with young adults navigating their first professional and personal crises. (Please note: I'm unfortunately not able to support clients with substance use issues; eating disorders; legal involvement; or OCD/ADHD concerns)

I use CBT, Motivational Interviewing and EMDR (to help your brain adjust the way it processes and stores traumatic memories and information) with other techniques to tailor therapy to a client’s needs. Therapy is a reparative, mirroring process to understand and really see yourself, and learn to untie your own knots.

You are the expert on yourself - I'm here to help you create your own toolbox to cope with life’s challenges. I provide a warm, safe environment in therapy to build trust, and will meet you where you are as you tell your story and set goals for change.
