Hello! I work with adults and undergraduate/graduate students who come to therapy with issues stemming from trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, mixed race identity development, existential concerns, and peripartum/pregnancy loss. I have been a psychotherapist for 10 years and use a holistic, anti-oppressive, liberatory perspective when treating psychological issues. I offer a therapeutic relationship that creates constructive and meaningful change. My expertise creates the container for our collaborative sessions; you bring self-knowledge and a vision of what you want your life to be.
I use a contemporary psychodynamic lens in exploring unconscious patterns occurring in relationship with self and others as well as techniques from DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and psychedelic-assisted therapy. I am Japanese-American and am passionate about matters of identity, race, culture, and social justice. My sun and moon are in cancer.
Feel free to reach out and ask any questions you might have about working with me or about therapy in general! If we don't seem like a good fit or I am booked, I can absolutely help you find another provider in the area as well.
