I specialize in working with those who have experienced trauma, addiction, and perceive the world through their neurodiversity. I believe in the relationship built in therapy. Let's figure out how to better understand, process and decrease negative impacts in your life and relationships. If you're someone that is neurodiverse person, loving someone who is neurodiverse, addiction, LGBTQAI+, bullying, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, PTSD/CPTSD, trauma, relationships/communication, and shame, I'm here. Let's work together to help you live and not just survive.
My approach includes creating and safe and secure relationship, providing education, empathy, strategies, and at times an encouraging push to assist in self examination and reflection. Clients often say I "ask the right questions." I specialize in working with trauma, neurodiversity, LGBTQIA+, and addiction as I too belong to these communities.
As a mixed neurotype person I understand the complexities that comes with all aspects of life including parenting, having a career, and building relationships including the one with myself. Life can feel unbearable and it might right now, therapy offers relief in a non-judgmental, collaborative, and supportive space to gain new awareness.
