I conduct therapy with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. I work with those who might be struggling with relationship patterns they want to understand, identity development, self-harm, histories of trauma, difficulties in work or at school, anxiety, depression, and all that comes with the stresses of today's complicated world. I aim to foster a spirit of curiosity, compassion, and a healthy dose of humor, as we delve into what can sometimes be difficult waters, working to understand your fears, desires, and motivations. Looking into the past, present, and future, the hope is to help you live your life more fully.
My work is rooted in attachment theory and the relational tradition - a tradition that recognizes and honors the deeply embedded nature of our emotional lives in early experiences with significant others, be they parents, peers, institutions and culture- society itself. I have specialized expertise in attachment-based work and in working with trauma.
Wherever you begin, I aim to provide a collaborative and safe space that allows for self-exploration, honesty, and self-compassion. I also aim to provide a space that is anti-racist, LGBTQIA-affirming, and culturally mindful. I very much look forward to working with you.
