I enjoy helping clients that have experienced childhood hurts and are now experiencing difficulty in their adult relationships. I use a combination of therapy interventions, including EMDR trauma therapy and parts work to help clients heal and grow into their most vibrant, calm, and whole version of themself. Anxiety, depression, low self-worth, and reactiveness can all come from unresolved trauma that is stuck in our body and brain. If we don’t address and treat it, it continuously shows up in our present day relationships. You deserve to experience the peace that comes from healing.
I approach mental health in a very holistic way- paying close attention to the connection between the brain and the body. EMDR is a great tool to access the part of our brain where trauma memories are stored. We can clear out the trauma and lower the emotional activation that occurs when we recall the event or have similar experiences in present day life.
