As a licensed professional counselor, a board-certified art therapist, trauma specialist, yoga practitioner, and creative spirit I draw from my deep, yet eclectic, training to tailor my support for you on your journey. My practice centers around feeling seen and heard, hard work, exploration, growth, interaction, enthusiasm, and important touches of humor and creativity.
I am a highly experienced practitioner across traditional therapeutic techniques (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy) and expressive therapeutic techniques, as well as behavior-, somatic-, and trauma-sensitive approaches. My scope of practice focuses in on children, adolescents (as well as their parents), and young adults with neurodivergent diagnoses.
Nothing is as chaotic as it seems. We will work together in developing increased self-awareness, improved interpersonal communication, a positive self-identity, strengthened self-regulation and ability to challenge negative thinking that can arise from atypical neurological functioning.
